The map pack is three slots, and it sits above everything

For a searcher with local intent, the map pack occupies the screen before a single organic result is visible. Being the fourth-best local business in your city means being invisible on a phone. Everything in local SEO is aimed at those three slots.

Proximity, relevance and prominence -- only two are in your control

Google ranks local results on how close you are to the searcher, how well you match the query, and how well known you are. You cannot move your business. You can absolutely control relevance -- categories, services, attributes, on-page content -- and prominence, which is reviews, citations and links. We work the two levers that exist rather than pretending the third does.

NAP inconsistency is a slow, invisible leak

If your suite number appears on your site but not in your directory listings, and your phone number is formatted three different ways across the web, you are asking a machine to decide whether these are the same business. Sometimes it decides wrong. This site is built so that every NAP value on it originates from one file, which prevents inconsistency structurally rather than correcting it periodically.

The Map at the Top of Google: common questions

I do not have a storefront. Can I still rank locally?

Yes. Google supports service-area businesses that hide their address and declare the regions they serve. It is critical to configure it that way from the start rather than publishing a home address you then have to hide, because getting it wrong risks suspension of the profile.

How long until I appear in the map pack?

For a new profile in a low-competition market, often six to twelve weeks. In a saturated market it can take considerably longer and depends heavily on review velocity. Anyone quoting you a guaranteed timeline is selling certainty they do not have.

Can you get me reviews?

We build the flow that asks for them at the right moment and makes leaving one effortless. We will not buy, incentivise or fabricate reviews. That violates Google policy, it is illegal in many jurisdictions under consumer protection law, and it gets profiles removed.

Find out what your website is costing you

We will take a proper look at your current site and tell you why it is not bringing you work — whether Google can even find it, how you stack up against the competition nearby, and whether your contact form could land you in trouble. It is free, and it is yours to keep whether or not you hire us.
